Buyer–Supplier Role in Improving Ergonomics in Garment Supplier Factories: Empirical Evidence from the Garment Industry of Bangladesh

Ergonomics is a key concern of garment suppliers to improve their workers’ well-being and efficiency. However, suppliers’ isolated initiatives are not sufficient ergonomics conditions. Thus, buyers’ cooperation collaboration with necessary make the ergonomic successful sustainable. The purpose this study investigate impact buyer-assisted intervention on performance role assistance for improving conditions in supplier factories. Following qualitative research approach multiple embedded case method, intervened factories collected quantitative data from one Danish buyer four buyers Collected were analysed by employing both analysis techniques.
